Lorraine Kelly's morning show returned on Friday, and despite battling with her voice on yesterday's show, she stormed on like a trooper as she celebrated St Patrick's Day.
Viewers were given a slice of TV gold as we got a snippet of a younger Lorraine on her iconic morning show celebrating Ireland's patron saint.
The Scots presenter, 63, was seen dressed in a traditional Irish dancing green frock and had a pop of bling round her neck as she pranced around the ITV studios.
"You'll be glad to hear I have hung up my dancing shoes," said Lorraine as she hinted there would be another form of celebration coming up on her show today.
And she was sticking to the musical traditions as she took part in a bit of drumming live on-air, but viewers were left amused when she admitted she didn't know her left from her right when she was guided how to play the instrument by her guest.
"I don't know my right from my left" Lorraine said before becoming slightly flustered and bursting into laughter, admitting she "didn't think she was doing it right."
"Did Lorraine seriously just say she doesn't know her right from left? I think you need to take another rest day luvvie," Penned one viewer.
Another wrote: "I am SCREAMING! Lorraine playing that drum has made my entire day #ITV #LorraineKelly."
Meanwhile other fans rushed to "congratulate" Lorraine on managing to present her show for a 'full week' as they made a dig at how often she hands her show over to co-star Ranvir to take over.
"Everyone please send Lorraine Kelly your tweets of praise for completely a FULL week of presenting her own show without having to call in the long suffering Ranvir to cover. Well done Lorraine dorlin you’ve done yourself proud! #Lorraine #Lazy," said one Twitter user.
Someone else added: "The evil Lorraine Kelly presenting her own show despite being ill - desperately trying to prove her naysayers wrong but we see through your act luvvie! The long suffering Ranvir was already doing the school run when she got the call, you aren't fooling anyone! #Lorraine."
But some came to her defence "Bless her she's obviously still feeling a bit rundown from being unwell yesterday," added another viewer.
