Loose Women viewers got more than they bargained for during Tuesday's instalment of the usually calm daytime ITV show.
Host Ruth Langsford welcomed viewers to the first episode of 2023, joined by Carol McGiffin, Brenda Edwards, and Kelle Bryan, and after discussing Prince William's recent revelation interview - the panel went on to discuss childcare and working from home.
It comes after a blanket of controversy earlier this week, with one woman admitting that she was planning on caring for her kid while on shift at home.

The Mirror reports that while Carol slammed the sordid situation, Brenda sympathised with the young mum - who was simply trying to do her best to juggle parenting and working a full-time job.
As the two TV stars got into the discussion, things became more and more heated until Brenda was forced to clap back at Carol after she assumed that her Loose Women co-star had made a dig at her parenting skills as she juggled her career alongside it. Brenda argued: "I worked very successfully with my two children working alongside me and along with them.
"And if you monitor things - the work that has got to be done - then there's no other people that will have to take up any slack."
"Nobody had to take up the slack for me. I did my work and I took great pride in that," she added before Carol interrupted.
"Yeah, but don't take it so personally Brenda," Carol said, but her reply didn't go down well with Brenda who raised her voice after Carol's comment. She ranted: "I'm the one who picked up the slack. I never had special treatment from anyone.
"It's hard not to take things personally when you say things like that."
And many viewers of the show were quick to take to social media as the fiery row took place. One, tweeted: "Omg I'm shaking in my seat after that Loose Women row! I'm sorry but I agree with everything Carol said," while another, added: "WELL there must be something in the water on Loose Women today.... Carol and Brenda clearly don't like one another."
A third, chimed in: "Cringing so hard at Loose Women," while someone else, shared: "LOOSE WOMEN is better than any drama show today!!! That row."
Another, complained: "I have to agree with Brenda, being a mum is hard and juggling it with work is even more difficult. Carol doesn't know what she's talking about really."
