Loose Women star Andrea McLean has opened up to her fans about her health issues as she says she has been 'poorly for so long'. The 53-year-old revealed she recently went to support her friend and ex co-star Brenda Edwards at an event on the anniversary of her son Jamal Edwards ' death, but ended up getting getting sick after it.
Andrea was a staple of daytime television featured on GMTV for 11 years from 1997 before presenting on Loose Women between 2007 and 2020. According to the Mirror, she decided to take time out from Loose Women following a nervous breakdown and the global pandemic which forced her to reconsider her priorities.
Now, in a lengthy Instagram post, updated her 301,000 followers, Andrea has told how health woes have left her bedridden in recent days. The Sottish presenter confessed that she has been left suffering with exhaustion and is now awaiting test results.
