Loose Women's Nadia Sawalha shares photo from hospital bed as she urges fans to get any symptoms checked

Loose Women star Nadia Sawalha has taken to Instagram to urge her fans to get any symptoms checked out. She has posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed after undergoing a hysteroscopy.

A hysteroscopy is a procedure that examines the inside of the womb. Nadia explained in her caption of the photo she wanted to encourage people to get any medical worries checked.

She said: "The only reason I’m posting these pics is because I want to catch your eye and urge you if you have been worrying about any symptoms you’ve been experiencing to bite the bullet and get yourself seen!"

Nadia also admitted she had been "worried sick" and wished she had gone to get checked out earlier. She said: “Delaying things will only cause more worry. I’m not going to lie I’ve been worried sick myself recently but was given the all clear on Monday! I only wish I had dealt with it earlier so I didn’t get myself into such a pickle. Don’t delay make the call. Get seen. You know it makes sense.”

Fans were quick to offer well-wishes to the 57-year-old, while others agreed with the sentiments shared in her post, as OK! reports. One fan wrote: “Oh nadia I'm glad you're OK, but you're so right, any worry is best dealt with straight the way so you can get on with your life, sending hugs,” followed by four red heart emojis.

“Sending you the biggest of hugs beauty .. thank god you are ok,” added another. While another wrote: “Glad you have the all clear, I hope you get better soon! And good message to never ignore anything that doesn’t feel right."

Recently Nadia has spoken about how starring on Loose Women since the show began in 1999 has meant she’s “learnt a lot” and has seen herself grow as a person. She said: “I just love the show with a passion. There’s nothing like the music of the way that women talk - how one minute we can cry, the next rage, and then the next laugh our heads off.”
