Linda Robson branded her Loose Women co-stars 'party poopers' and hit out at 'miserable' ITV viewers on Friday, having been left annoyed by the results of a poll about King Charles' fast approaching Coronation.
There are now just two weeks left until new monarch King Charles III attends his Coronation, with the historic event celebrated with a wave of events across the country, including a star studded pop concert, featuring the likes of Take That and Katy Perry and many street parties in communities all over the UK.
The subject of the Coronation and, more specifically whether people were 'that bothered' about it, was raised on Friday's Loose Women, when Birds of a Feather legend Linda sat alongside host Kaye Adams and co-stars Jane Moore and Sunetra Sarker. Kaye threw open the debate to her colleagues as it's been reported that there is set to be fewer street parties for the Coronation than for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Undeterred by that speculation, Linda say next to Kaye covered in Union Jack bunting and said: "I am excited yeah. The Jubilee parties we used to have, with people getting their big tables out and all the neighbours bringing all the food out. It was amazing, weren't it?"
However, nowhere near as enthusiastic, ex Brookside actress Sunetra replied: "Don't you feel like we've had a bit of overkill? I'm not taking away from the party; but, don't you feel this generation that we've been in - we thought we'd get a once in a lifetime experience. We thought we'd have one jubilee we had a few? Then we had the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh and then the passing of the Queen and, now another.
"I feel like we're having all these once in a lifetime moments squashed into a few years and it feels like we're getting the chance to really enjoy the exclusivity of it all."
Jane too was downbeat with her interest in the Coronation, saying she didn't know if "there was a place" for all the pomp and ceremony, forcing Linda to fire back: "You're all party poopers! We should be celebrating, we're going to have a new King - get the bunting out, get the party tables out!"
Kaye then announced that a viewer poll on the subject had ended with only 40 per cent of people taking part saying they were excited for the King's Coronation, to which Linda reacted: "Miserable lot!"
