Dense Welch told her Loose Women collagues she was concerned over the 'alternative' to Boris Johnson as there are more calls for him to resign as Prime Minister.
In the wake of all the damning stories of Downing Street parties during lockdown and a very heated PMQs on Wednesday afternoon, the Loose Women panel spoke about Johnson's future in the role.
And, having backed the Government's decision to scrap Plan B covid restrictions a day earlier, Denise said she was now of the 'better the devil you know' stance when it came to Johnson as PM.

After being asked for her opinion by host Charlene White, Denise said: "At the moment, for me, it's better the devil you know.
"I am worried that if Boris goes what the alternative is going to be"
She continued: "Because Boris, he did take the gamble...well not the gamble, he had the data.
"We did come out of lockdown in July. He didn't lock down again before Christmas when there was a lot of pressure for him to do so.
"And I for one, everybody knows how I feel about many things in this situation; to me, I'm worried about the alternative.
"I've been a Labour supporter all my life, I'm now politically homeless as we'd still be in lockdown if Keir Starmer had been in. The end."
Reacting to her opinion, Charlene responded: "Politically homeless? I haven't heard that one before," as Nadia Sawalha, sitting next to Denise, remarked: "I like that."
