Loose Women's Denise Welch says Jane Moore is her 'best friend' after heated spat on show

Denise Welch was quick to point out that she and Jane Moore have been 'best friends' for 30 years after their heated row on Loose Women attracted plenty of attention on Thursday, with many people agreeing with Denise's stance on Prince Harry.

Just like on many TV shows, in light of more footage from Prince Harry's high profile ITV interview emerging, as well as extracts from his book Spare being leaked, the Duke of Sussex and his revelations about the Royal Family and brother Prince William were a major talking point as Loose Women kicked off its latest episode.

Host Charlene White was keen to get the opinions of the panel, particularly on Harry's claim that he and William were involved in an 'altercation' and Denise, who has been a long standing supporter of both Harry and wife Meghan Markle, was quick to go into bat for them again, highlighting that the Royal Family themselves were just as guilty of dong the things like 'selling stories' that Harry was being accused of.

Jane said she felt it was 'hurtful' that Prince Harry was being so public with his allegations, but Denise shot back and then scalded Jane for interrupting her to argue that Harry was only being public with his claims in order to "make money."

Not having that, Denise replied: "The fact is the Royal Family make quite a bit of money themselves. They have been leaking stories. We know they have. As soon as Meghan was seen as the People’s Princess, that was game over, because William and Kate have to remain in those positions.

“Meghan was in those rooms on the global stage with charities – she didn’t do that just when she got married to Harry."

Viewers and new outlets were quick to react to the clash between Denise and Jane, but reacting to one article written about it, Denise informed everyone that their relationship actually extended way beyond being colleagues on the Loose Women panel.

Sharing the story about how Loose Women had 'turned feisty,' on her Twitter timeline, Denise replied: "Yes it did. But we’re also best friends for 30yrs!!!"

Backing Denise for speaking out in support of Prince Harry, one of her many followers responded: "All I can say is I agree with everything you say regarding Harry & Meghan and thank god your fighting their corner," with another telling her: "Good for you Denise. I am in complete agreement with you."
