Loose Women's Charlene White suffers 'accident' seconds before show starts

Charlene White suffered an 'accident' seconds before cameras started rolling on Loose Women, with her coming clean to viewers as soon as the show started.

As they do at the end of every This Morning, Charlene's ITV colleagues Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield cut to the Loose Women studio to get a preview of what was coming up on Thursday's episode and were greeted by Charlene, who teased star guests like former Emmerdale actor and Strictly winner Kelvin Fletcher and ex Home and Away and Wedding Crashers star Isla Fisher.

Afte r Phillip and Holly wrapped up This Morning, there was a very short break to allow for the Loose Women to get set to go live at 12.30pm on the dot and, while she looked very much cool, calm and collected as she kicked the show off, Charlene revealed behind the scenes things were a blot more chaotic.

She began proceedings by once again mentioning Kelvin and Isla's appearances, before revealing that the panel would be 'manifesting' a win at the National Television Awards by playing their favourite celebration songs. And it was then that Charlene confessed to the mishap that happened right before cameras started rolling.

She explained: "In the time it took for us to do the bit that we did to This Morning, to us then being live with our show, I had a bit of an accident." As she then started pulling at the top she was wearing, Charlene added: "I can be so mucky sometimes! I managed to get lip gloss on my top.

"So anyone who's watching who's like 'ooh what's on her top?' it's lip gloss." Trying to spare her blushes, co-star Judi Love replied: "If anyone is watching, well they better be...you still look sexy!" Sitting along from Judi, colleague Kelle Bryan joked: "And if anyone's noticing, what are they looking at?" motioning to her chest as she spoke.

Charlene then admitted that there'd been 'some commotion' before the show started, with Fairy Liquid and a hairdryer, adding: "It didn't work, so I'm 'fessing up. Hey, I'm not changing, it is what it is."
