Loose Women star Denise Welch performed for a crowd of A-listers at Sir Michael Caine's birthday party as she entertained them with hilarious and filthy jokes.
British film icon Sir Michael Caine, has just turned 90. The actor, known for his roles in Alfie, Get Carter and The Italian Job, celebrated his birthday in London with A-listers including Tom Cruise.
The Mission Impossible actor ditched the Oscars on Sunday night, March 12, to celebrate Michael’s birthday in the UK. However, he probably didn’t expect to party with Denise Welch as she ended up being the entertainment for the night, reports the Chronicle Live.

The Loose Women star shared a video from inside the birthday party on Instagram, she wrote: "Such an honour to be asked by Shakira (Michael's wife) to say a few words at Sir Michael Caines’ 90th birthday!!! He loves a dirty joke and so does @tomcruise it appears!!!! Great night and amazing company @nctopsy @therivercafelondon."
Denise made a joke about 'Olympic condoms' that were apparently delivered to Michael and his wife Shakira’s home, a gag that was also made by her social media followers who were unaware of her friendship with Michael.
Fans were shocked by her being at his birthday and partying with Tom.
Viewers of the Instagram video were flabbergasted, one said: "Tom Cruise skipping the Oscars to watch Denise perform stand up was not on my 2023 bingo card," with another fan replying: "No way is that Tom Cruise & Michael Caine.... just fainted. I can't imagine being at the same table as Hollywood Royalty."
Michael and Denise first began their friendship in 2016 after her husband Lincoln Townley painted Michaels's portrait.
Opening up on their unlikely friendship in 2022 Denise said: "Michael is a complete legend. I was very nervous of him when I first met him, he's a huge fan of my husband's work. I became very good friends with Shakira his wife.
"We see them as regularly as possible and I adore him - it's my favourite shot in the world when I get papped with Michael Caine because I feel so cool!"
