Loose Women cancelled by ITV to make way for Cheltenham Festival coverage

Cheltenham Festival Ruth Langsford

Ruth Langsford broke some sad news to Loose Women fans by revealing that the show is being cancelled for the rest of the week.

Ruth was joined on the ITV talk show's only episode of the week by colleagues Linda Robson, Carol McGiffin and Nadia Sawlaha, with Linda left in tears as he co-stars surprised her with a special birthday message.

There were also two special guests in the studio, with Catherine Tate forcing the bleep machine into overdrive by appearing as her foul mouthed character Nan, before Ross Kemp joined the panel for an interview in which he said he'd 'never rule out' a return to EastEnders.
