Loose Women air hilarious clip of hungover Judi Love after boozy BAFTA night

The Loose Women were left giggling on Monday as they watched a clip of Judi Love arriving to the ITV studio after a late night celebrating the BAFTAs on Sunday.

Judi was joined on the ITV panel by Ruth Langsford, Brenda Edwards and Jane More on Monday - after the great and the good of the small screen took to the red carpet on Sunday for the 2022 BAFTA Awards.

Judi told her fellow panellists about her “great” night at Mo Gilligan’s after party, following his BAFTA win, saying: “It was a lot of fun.”

Judi then admitted she needed to thank Loose Women’s hair and makeup team for pulling her together for Monday’s live show.

Ruth Langsford then told ITV viewers they had a clip of Judi’s arrival to the ITV studio that morning, saying: “Makeup has been incredible today, as have our team, ferrying water, paracetamol, toast, whatever she needed, because this is what Judi was like when she came in this morning.”

The clip showed Judi walk into a makeup room backstage at the Loose Women studio.

Judi looked a little worse for wear with sunglasses on and her lopsided hair pinned back, before she collapsed on the sofa in between Jane and Brenda.

The Loose Women staff were heard giggling in the background as they asked how Judi’s night out at the TV BAFTAs after party had been.

In a croaky voice, Judi insisted: “Morning. I’m fine.”

Comedian and actor Richard Ayoade played BAFTAs host for the third year running on Sunday evening, with George Ezra performing live on the red carpet.

A plethora of famous faces were on hand to hand out the awards, including the likes of Olivia Colman, Tom Daley and the Sex Education star Ncuti Gatwa, who has been named as Jodie Whittaker’s successor in Doctor Who.

Martin Freeman, Lee Mack, Katie Piper, Ross Kemp and Rochelle Humes also presented awards on the night.

Channel 4 drama It’s A Sin, about a group of friends during the 1980s Aids crisis, led the nominations going into the night, up for 11 gongs, including Best Drama and Best Mini-Series - but the hit show was ultimately snubbed in every category.

There were major wins for stars including Sean Bean and Jodie Comer, who managed to bag a gleaming gong tonight, as well as Big Zuu who took home two golden faces, alongside many others who claimed their coveted awards.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV
