Details continue to come out regarding the surprise merger between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf.
PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan sent out "privileged and confidential" letter to the PGA players announcing the merger, with the letter obtained by Monday Q Info on Twitter.

The letter says that the there has been a "framework agreement" between the PIF and PGA Tour, and that the announcement "brings an end to all pending litigation" between the two.
The 2023 LIV Golf schedule will also continue as planned, while creating a "fair and objective process" for the LIV players who intended to re-apply for PGA Tour and DP World Tour membership. According to Dan Rapaport of Barstool Sports, there's an expectation that returning players will need to pay a fine.
Monahan says he will be available to meet with players for questions at 4pm on Tuesday, June 6 at the RBC Canadian Open.
Rapaport also reported that the PGA Tour "didn't communicate this to the players at all." Anonymous players have told Rapaport that they are "shocked" and "disgusted" by the news.
Some players like Canada's Mackenzie Hughes have already taken to Twitter to show blind-sided the PGA players were by the announcement.
