There’s a fun debate popping off about who should really get credit for helping Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce and pop star Taylor Swift together.
Chiefs quarterback claimed he was the matchmaker on Thursday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show, saying it was his suite and encouragement that led to the infamous friendship bracelet conversation.

But Mahomes has some competition in the Tayvis realm as to who was the influencing factor. Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson of the Calm Down Podcast made similar claims to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show on Thursday night.
Kelce commented below the video of Andrews and Thompson, saying “For America!! Charissa and Erin are the best!” with a handful of emojis. It’s hard to say who is actually responsible for the matchmaking — if anyone — but plenty of folks are interested in taking the credit.
