The Ohio State basketball team travels to Ann Arbor on Saturday to take on a Michigan team that has had a very inconsistent year thus far, but the timing probably couldn’t be any worse for the Buckeyes. That’s because the Wolverines seem to be putting things together, having just annihilated the No. 3 ranked Purdue Boilermakers 82-58 on Thursday night.
The win elevated Michigan’s overall record to 13-9 overall and 7-5 in the conference. It was the Wolverines’ sixth win in eight tries, so there appears to be some momentum at TTUN.
And now, it appears as though the brass at Michigan is trying to lather up the home fans even more with a planned “blue-out” for the game against Ohio State that’s set to tip-off at 6:30 p.m. EST Saturday evening.
Rumblings that Michigan vs. Iowa hoops was going to be moved from its Feb. 17 date, but it's not — still Thursday the 17th in Iowa City. Also, Saturday's game with OSU is a "blue out" with 10K rally towels being distributed at Crisler. #GoBlue

It’s hard enough to win on the road in the Big Ten as we saw Wednesday night in Piscataway vs. Rutgers, and it won’t be an easy task on Saturday up in Ann Arbor either. The Buckeyes sorely need a win to keep pace in the race at the top of the league.
Hopefully, Ohio State can make things a little more blue than normal with a victory at Crisler Arena.
