Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a finger injury during the second quarter of Sunday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
During an injury timeout for a Bills player, cameras caught Burrow getting treatment on his pointer finger on the throwing hand. Screengrabs went all over social media right after it was revealed.
Normally this wouldn’t be anything but a minor curiosity that goes slightly viral on social media. But the fact it’s on Burrow’s throwing hand makes it more noteworthy than it probably should be, so it’s something to monitor.
Before the issue, Burrow had gone 15-of-18 for 139 yards and a score in a 14-7 game favoring his Bengals.
