Cutdowns are complete as the Cleveland Browns have finalized their initial 53-man roster. Of course, players like quarterback Deshaun Watson and defensive end Myles Garrett were never in question, but a few players on the fringe squeezed their way onto this initial roster. Those on the fringes are highlighted by two undrafted free agents who played well in the preseason and won themselves a spot.
Reminder: do not get too attached to the players on the initial 53-man roster as the Browns will look it put some players on Injured Reserve, re-sign some veterans they have initially cut, and still have waiver claims and subsequent cuts to make as well. There is room to add more guards (the return of Michael Dunn), another running back, and perhaps another tight end to the roster still.
