Somewhere in an alternate timeline, wide receiver Josh Gordon won multiple receiving titles for the Cleveland Browns outside of just his 2013 campaign. The path of Gordon, however, is well-documented as he spent more time suspended by the NFL than he did on the field for the Browns. He bounced around the NFL, from the New England Patriots to the Seattle Seahawks, to the Kansas City Chiefs, and most recently with the Tennessee Titans. He has since been drafted into the XFL by the Seattle Sea Dragons.
Now today, the Sea Dragons have snapped a picture of Gordon in their matte orange helmets as he prepares to suit up for The Rock’s league. There is a reason to believe Gordon will make his way back to the NFL next season, but his career remains one of the biggest “what ifs?” in history.
