You know the scene in “Step Brothers” when Brennan asks Dale if they just became best friends? That’s probably the interaction Cooper Kupp and Matthew Stafford had when they first met each other as teammates last year.
Since then, they’ve become incredibly close, spending a ton of time together on and off the field. They eat breakfast together while breaking down film, they hang out together outside of football and their chemistry on Sundays is second to none.
Kupp is a huge fan of Stafford’s game, too. He showed that on Wednesday while signing his new three-year, $80 million extension. The Rams shared a photo of Kupp putting pen to paper and he was wearing a Stafford jersey. Because of course he was.

The Rams’ culture is as good as any team’s in the NFL, and this is just another example of that. How many other players would wear a teammate’s jersey to sign a new contract?
