A stylish bar that offers stunning views of Newcastle city centre is getting ready to open a new rooftop terrace following a major revamp.
The Botanist has spent the last three months renovating its popular drinks terrace on the top floor of Monument Mall to offer drinkers an idyllic space perfect for catching up with friends in the sun. Customers can enjoy drinks and music from the new outdoor bar and DJ booth, as they relax on soft lounge seats with patio heaters to keep them warm on cooler nights.
The elegant terrace has also been decorated with tropical plants along with hand-painted new artwork on the walls. And drinkers can still expect the rooftop bar to offer the fantastic view over Monument and the city centre that the venue has become known for.
The 420-square-foot space will open to customers for the first time on Saturday, August 6, in time for what looks set to be a warm and sunny weekend. But ahead of its official opening, the Botanist is offering the public the chance to come along to two launch parties on Thursday, August 4, and Friday, August 5.
The free events will feature live entertainment, complimentary arrival drinks and canapes.
Both events start at 5.30pm and will operate on a guestlist-only basis. Those wishing to attend should sign up via The Botanist Newcastle Terrace Launch Party – Thursday and The Botanist Newcastle Terrace Launch Party – Friday.
