You’re a clean one, Mr. Grinch.
With this season’s Week 16 matchup between the Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers falling on Christmas Eve, you know the players taking the field at Bank of America Stadium were going to get into the holiday spirit. And one of those players was wideout Adam Thielen, who arrived at the gate with his spirit in hand . . .

Thielen then popped them on during pre-game warmups, and we gotta say—they’re cuddlier than a cactus and more charming than an eel.

The 33-year-old receiver enters the afternoon having already stacked up an impressive 10th NFL season. Through 14 games, he’s amassed 870 yards and four touchdowns in 89 receptions—his most since his 113-catch Pro Bowl campaign in 2018.
A nine-year vet of the NFC South, Thielen has also seen quite a bit of success against the visiting Packers. In 17 career games against Green Bay, he’s totaled 78 grabs for 1,038 yards and seven scores.
Unless he wants to be on the receiving end of a hefty fine from the league office, Thielen unfortunately won’t be adding to those numbers in his Grinch garb. So, who’s really the Grinch here, folks?
