The San Francisco 49ers may have the Rams’ number during the regular season, but Aaron Donald has something they don’t: A Super Bowl ring in the last 30 years.
The 49ers came up short once again on Sunday night in their 25-22 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, falling in overtime after blowing a fourth-quarter lead in the final two minutes. The 49ers haven’t won a Super Bowl since the 1994 season, so Donald reminded them what a championship ring looks like.
On Monday afternoon, Donald posted a photo of himself from the Rams’ ring ceremony two years ago, subtly taking a shot at the rival 49ers less than 24 hours after their Super Bowl heartbreak.

Donald doesn’t do a lot of trash talking publicly, but there’s not much question this was a veiled shot at the 49ers after they blew another lead in the Super Bowl.
