The Standard has teamed up with the Lonsdale Cinema in Annan to offer a free family ticket of four plus a special Railway Children Return hamper from Betty’s Tearooms of York worth £40.
The cinema is also offering a family ticket of four for second place in the competition.
The Railway Children Return, a sequel to one of the most beloved British family films of all time, arrived at the Lonsdale on Friday.
It is an enchanting adventure for a new generation starring Jenny Agutter, Sheridan Smith and Tom Courtenay.
The film follows a group of children evacuated to a Yorkshire village during World War II, where they encounter a young soldier who, like them, is far from home.
To celebrate the film’s release the Lonsdale Cinema created a limited-edition selection of Betty’s treats that all ages will love, in a beautiful presentation box illustrated by Yorkshire artist Emily Sutton.
The box includes a railway biscuit bear, betty’s buttons, milk chocolate guinea, railway milk chocolate express train, railway biscuit bear and fruit jellies.
Can you name in which English county The Railway Children is set?
