Longstanding Nottingham Indian restaurant Mogal-E-Azam boarded up as sign put up

A popular restaurant in the city centre has been boarded up. Mogal-E-Azam is a long established Indian restaurant located Goldsmith Street, just round the corner from Nottingham's Rock City.

Mogal-E-Azam has been running since 1977 and is known in the city for its authentic and freshly prepared dishes. However, the restaurant has been recently boarded up. It's thought to be one of the oldest Indian restaurants in the city.

It appears that the restaurant is under new ownership, according to a notice posted on the board. It reads: "Under new ownership. No trespass. Police notified."
