Longitude Festival kicks off on Friday, July 1st, as thousands of revellers head to Marlay Park, Rathfarnham, for a music filled weekend.
The three day event will start on Friday, with British rapper Dave headlining.
Since 2013, Marlay Park has been home to the festival.

With a star studded line-up of international hip hop acts, the weekend festival is returning to Marlay Park after three long years of cancellations because of the pandemic.
Here’s what you need to know if you will be attending Longitude 2022.
What day does the festival start?
The first day of the festival will kick off on Friday, July 1st, with Gates opening at 1.30pm.
What acts are on the line-up for Friday, July 1st?
Longitude favourite and British rapper Dave returns to headline the Friday night of Longitude.
There is a great mix of RnB and Hip Hop acts taking to the stage.

LONGITUDE 2022 FRIDAY STAGE TIMES
Gates open at 1:30 pm at Marlay Park, and the show will kick off at 2:30 pm so you should plan ahead and get there with plenty of time for delays.
There are two stages: The Main stage and The Heineken Stage, including the SPIN 1038 house party stage.
Here are the stage times for Friday’s acts. The first acts will take to the main stage at 2.30pm.

How to get to Longitude
Please allow plenty of time for concert entry procedures, ticket checks and searches.
Plan and book your return travel arrangements in advance allowing at least an extra 2hrs travel time to/from the venue.
LUAS, Dublin Bus, and Go Ahead will only be operating their normal scheduled services and will not be running additional services for the festival.
PICK UP AND DROP OFFS : The recommended drop off and collection point is at Our Lady’s School car park on Ballinteer Avenue.
BUS: CITY CENTRE SHUTTLE : Marathon Travel are operating a bus service from Custom House Quay, in the City Centre direct to the Marlay Park Coach Park.

There's also a number of national bus services such as Travel Master are operating bus services from the following counties: Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Tipperary, Limerick, Kilkenny, Carlow, Laois, Galway, Westmeath, Meath, Sligo, Leitrim, Longford, Mayo and Roscommon to Marlay Park.
LUAS : Marathon Travel will also operate a shuttle bus between Dundrum Luas station and Stonemasons Way, near the Marlay Park pedestrian entrance.

TAXI : Following the event a taxi pick up area will be facilitated at the Supervalu on Ballinteer Avenue.
The Promoter cannot guarantee there will be taxis available after the event.
Ticket collection and Guestlist
Ticketmaster box offices and guestlist facilities are located at the Grange Road and College Road Entrances.
Security and Safety
MCD have issued advice ahead of the festival.
The organiser advises to help avoid any entry delays, please download or save your ticket before arriving at the concert.
Please allow plenty of time to get into the event, and for festival entry procedures, ticket checks and searches.
Please note that ID checks will also be in place on entry to the festival
You will also be searched at the entrance to the event which may include a full body pat down and/or use of hand held metal detectors.
There is no overnight or early queuing allowed.
All Under 16’s attending the Event must be accompanied at all times by an adult.
Banned items
No Alcohol or Drinks are permitted to be brought into the venue with the exception of water and soft drinks in sealed plastic bottles up to 500ml.
Bags larger than A4 size, Aerosols over 250ml, Airhorns, Sound Systems, Animals (except assistance dogs.
Items considered for use as a weapon, which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person, Audiovisual recording or transmitting equipment (professional), or Camping equipment.
Are there still tickets available for Longitude?
Tickets are still available for Longitude 2022. This includes day tickets and weekend tickets.
No, 2021 tickets are not valid. All 2021 ticketholders were refunded.
What will the weather be like?
Friday will start off cloudy with occasional outbreaks of rain or drizzle across Dublin.
It will then turn dry and bright for most of the afternoon and evening, with more rain arriving in the evening.
The highest temperatures will be 16 or 17 degrees with moderate southwesterly winds.
Make sure to dress for Irish weather.
You should make sure your phone is fully charged and bring a bottle of water to hydrate.
