Longines’ Conquest Collection Is A Shortcut To Everyday Elegance

It’s been 70 years since Longines released its Conquest collection, but one thing is as true today as it was in 1954: elegance isn’t just for special occasions. Conquest watches have always blended cutting-edge technology and a sporty spirit with timeless design, to bring a touch of elegance to the everyday.

The latest Conquest collection has evolved from earlier iterations, with the addition of new sizes to ensure the perfect fit for all wrists, and a coloured dial in blue, green or pink on the 34mm three-hand version.

To bring the new collection to life, Longines has named its ambassadors of elegance: Hungarian supermodel Barbara Palvin, acclaimed Chinese actor Zhao Liying, and South Korean actor and singer Suzy. This trio of powerhouse women star in the Longines campaign “A Life in a Day”, showcasing the versatility and beauty of the newly imagined Conquest..

Shot in Budapest, Shanghai and Seoul, the campaign demonstrates the versatility and classic appeal of this ultimate wear-anywhere watch, keeping up with some of the world’s most in-demand, creative women. “My Conquest isn’t just a watch,” says Liying, who has become as beloved for her fashion choices as for her roles. “It’s an expression of everyday elegance.”

The new 2024 models are presented in a 30mm steel or bi-material case, with alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces, and are water-resistant up to 100 metres. The 34mm three-hand version (worn by Palvin, Liying and Suzy in the campaign) features external snailing to increase the vibrancy and intensity of the coloured dial. Designed to take you from day to night and be as natural with sneakers as it is with stilettos, versatility is at the Conquest’s heart, landing perfectly on the balance of classic and contemporary.

“I realise that, for my happiness, it is important to have my own time and to follow my own routine,” says Suzy of the significance of the timepiece. The Conquest may be made to help you conquer your day, but its relaxed and refined design will make sure you look good doing it, too.
