NEW DELHI: A Delhi-based doctor who had to go to Paris to attend a medical conference with his team has lost lakhs of rupees in cancellation charges for airline tickets and hotel bookings. The reason -- he and his team did not get their Schengen visa on time that requires confirm bookings to be attached at the time of filing the application.
The way for a Schengen visa can extend almost a month.
