Wales has produced some amazing singers over the years and now two huge Welsh names have come together for a new project. Hollywood star Luke Evans and voice of an angel Charlotte Church have teamed up on a new track, as Pinocchio and Beauty and the Beast star, Evans, releases his new album.
The pair have covered the Moulin Rouge track Come What May, as they combine their amazing Welsh voices on the track. Luke, who had a successful West End career before starring roles in The Hobbit, Dracula Untold and Beauty and the Beast, announced the news on his Instagram.
The Aberbargoed star, whose new album A Song For You is out in November, said: "My new single Come What May is out tomorrow! It features my old friend and her beautiful voice @therealcharlottechurch!". Charlotte also posted about the news, saying it was "so lush" to sing with Luke again.

She said: "It was so lush singing with you again sweetie! Thank you for having me" followed by a red love heart emoji. Charlotte also said she was excited for her fans to hear the song.
Come What May will be released on Wednesday, October 12 and its music video is available on Luke's YouTube channel. The singing sensations met through singing lessons when Charlotte was aged just nine and became firm friends.
In Charlotte's episode of Kate Garraway's Life Story Luke described Charlotte as "strong" and "feisty". He said: "She thrives on passion, she's strong, she's feisty, she's got a filthy mouth at times and that is why I love her."
Most recently, The Pembrokeshire Murders star, Luke has starred in the Disney film Pinocchio and the TV series Nine Perfect Strangers, where he plays a lead role of Lars, which is currently airing on Channel 4. Charlotte is also starring in her own TV series Charlotte's Dream Build on discovery+ where she is renovating the former mansion of Welsh designer Laura Ashley in Powys and turning it into a wellness retreat.
This wellness retreat will include a "vagina shower" and bookings for the retreat are now open. When Charlotte announced the news that the retreat was open for bookings on her Instagram Luke commented: "When can I check in??!" and Charlotte said he could come whenever he wanted, whenever he returned to the "homeland".
