A Wirral pub has reopened following a £211,000 investment.
The Queens Arms in Liscard Village in Wallasey is now part of the Craft Union Pub Company and has been given a fresh new look both inside and outside. The new bar is equipped with Sky Sports and BT Sports across eight TV screens, meaning visitors can enjoy live sporting action.
There has also been the addition of a new darts and pool schedule, as well as a packed entertainment schedule. The week starts with Monday Race Days, before classic tunes on Wednesdays, a free pool night on Thursday, live music on Friday nights and karaoke quiz nights on Saturdays.

The pub's new owners, Gemma and David Hughes, have recently moved to the area. Gemma has previously worked at The Coffee House in Woolton. Gemma said: "I am so excited about this new chapter at the Queens Arms. The feedback from our guests so far has been great. Our new look has given the pub a new lease of life and it is great to see so many locals enjoy the pub. I cannot wait to work with the community in supporting local events and causes in the coming weeks and months."
David added: "We've got a fantastic offering of entertainment on offer here. Between our events throughout the week to our weekend music and live sport, there really is something for everyone in the community.”
