Long Lines Form At Polling Locations Across The Country

New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation U.S. presidential primary election is held at the Medallion Opera House in Gorham

As the sun rose on Election Day, eager voters across the United States lined up outside polling places to exercise their right to vote. In Wilmington, North Carolina, the precinct located at a Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge opened promptly at 6:30 a.m. ET to a crowd of 30 to 40 people. Throughout the morning, the line continued to grow as more voters arrived to cast their ballots.

Meanwhile, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, residents gathered at the Gwinnett County Voter Registrations & Elections office to hand-deliver their absentee ballots. This location also served as a hub for poll watchers to check in and receive their credentials.
