NEW DELHI: A recent gold medal win in an international event in Greece has boosted the confidence of Indian long jumper Murali Sreeshankar. However, the 24-year-old athlete admitted that he is yet to find his full rhythm and is determined to address the issue promptly.
Sreeshankar's victory came at the International Jumping Meeting in Kallithea near Athens, a bronze-level competition on the World Athletics Continental Tour, where he recorded a season's best jump of 8.18m.
