Theresa Caputo has said she once received a message from the late Prince for an audience member at a show, saying that the "crazy" moment happened shortly after his death.
The 'medium', 56 - who was the focus of the TLC series Long Island Medium - spoke about the experience ahead of two live shows in London as part of her latest tour.
Whilst speaking to the Mirror ahead of her two dates at the Indigo at the O2, Theresa said that she received a message from Prince at a show shortly after his death back in 2016.
She told us she had been in Moline, Illinois, when his plane made an emergency landing there, days before his death, and said she later felt his presence at a show after he died.
Theresa told us: "I remember distinctly when Prince first had passed. I was doing a live show and I happened to be in Moline when his plane landed before he passed."
"I was doing a live show the next night and there was a gentleman seated in the front row. All of a sudden I saw Prince," she said during our interview earlier this week.
She continued by saying that she asked the audience member if he liked Prince, before sharing that she then told him that the late singer "wants to thank you for the tribute".
She continued: "The gentleman pulled out a purple tie from his pocket and he said 'I am devastated over the loss of Prince and I wrote a beautiful tribute to him and posted it on my Facebook page in memory of Prince'."
Theresa described it as a "crazy" moment, adding that there were thousands of people in the theatre and that he had been carrying a purple tie in memory of Prince that night.
The podcast host recalled saying to herself at the time: "Why is Prince coming through to this guy?" She added that she had wondered if it was the guest liked his music.
She reiterated that she heard a message for the audience member from Prince, telling us: "I heard 'I wanna thank him for the beautiful tribute' and the man broke down in tears."
Asked for her response over critics and skeptics, she said: "I'm the first one to say that one I do is crazy. How can someone communicate with someone that has died?
"I'm not asking anyone to believe in what I do. I don't care if people believe in medium. What I want people to do is to believe in themselves. I want them to believe in an afterlife."
She said that she wants people to know that things to happen around them that seem "odd or weird," or remind them of loved ones who have died, may be signs from them.
Theresa further commented: "I feel as a medium, I'm just able to validate for everyone that what they're sensing and feeling is real, they're not crazy. It's not their imagination."
The reality TV star said that some people lose their faith when someone close to them dies, adding that communicating with the departed can provide peace and faith.
She said: "The number one reason why I do what I do is to give people the peace and the comfort that they need, and more importantly deserve, to embrace life with as much happiness and joy that they possibly can, knowing that their loved ones might not physically be here but there souls are still with us and that we will see them again."
Theresa also teased what to expect from her two shows in London, telling us: "I can guarantee [that] I'm gonna show up with big hair, a beautiful dress and fabulous shoes."
"Seriously, it will be a night filled with faith and hope," she added, before saying that the experience itself can help people "continue to embrace life with happiness and joy".
"People will say all the time after attending my live shows 'I had no idea what to expect when I walked into that theatre. I personally did not get read but what I witnessed was absolutely live changing'," she further commented.
And although she said it's "very emotional," Theresa assures there will be laughter. She said: "We need the levity. The souls of the departed take us on an emotional rollercoaster.
"They allow us to feel all of the pain, sorrow, loss and grief, but then in the next moment they have me do or say something to bring a smile to someone's face and even laughter."
