A motorist caught speeding on the same stretch of road five times in six weeks has kept her driving licence. Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court heard Izabella Green was snapped breaking the 30mph limit in Derby Road, Long Eaton, on five separate occasions.
The 43-year-old, of Hickling Close, Long Eaton, was caught speeding on five different days in 2021 - April 20, May 17, May 28, June 2 and June 3. Admitting each of the offences, she was fined a total of £500 - £100 for each offence - and given a total of 15 penalty points.
Derbyshire Live reported the case and said that she was not disqualified from driving due to the impact it would have on her work. Magistrates also ordered her to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £50 victim surcharge.
