The Metropolitan Police service is overwhelmingly made up of good officers and staff who work relentlessly to keep Londoners safe. Despite their commitment, change was needed.
Communities, independent reviewers – and crucially our own people – were clear there were many improvements that we, as leaders, needed to make to enable the men and women in our ranks to better deliver for our capital city.
