Londoners could earn £500 for reporting serial Tube fare evaders under radical new plan

Londoners could get a reward of £500 by reporting persistent Tube fare evaders to the authorities under a plan unveiled by a mayoral hopeful.

Businessman Alex Challoner, who is seeking to be the Tory contender for London Mayor, is proposing that people who help to catch serial fare dodgers should get 25% of the money that Transport for London recovers.
