Safeguarding Coleridge’s legacy: Nicholas Coleridge is a patron of the Trust
(Picture: Dave Benett/Getty Images for V&A)THE FIGHT to save poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s Highgate grave from “benign neglect” has entered a new phase, The Londoner has learnt, following a £20,000 donation to the trust concerned.
An unnamed “local donor with a keen interest” in Coleridge, who is entombed beneath St Michael’s Church in Highgate, recently made the financial gift to the Coleridge Trust.
