London weather: Heatwave ends as cloud and cooler temperatures hit this weekend

London’s heatwave is set to be replaced with cooler temperatures and cloud this weekend, with a high of just 24C on Saturday and Sunday. 

It’s a far cry from Tuesday when Kew Gardens reached a scorching 32C, making the west London location the epicentre of the hottest day in the UK so far in 2024.
