London travel news LIVE: Waterloo trains to Portsmouth delayed after track inspection

Passengers travelling from London Waterloo towards Portsmouth are being warned of delays following a safety inspection of the track near Hilsea.

Some South Western Railway services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth Harbour may be delayed by up to 20 minutes while trains pass through the area under a temporary speed restriction. A small number of services may also be cancelled, revised or run only part of their usual route.

The disruption affects routes between Southampton Central, Havant and Portsmouth Harbour and is expected to continue until the end of the day.
