London travel news LIVE: Severe Piccadilly line delays impacting morning commute

Service on the Piccadilly line is majorly disrupted this morning, with severe delays between Acton Town and Uxbridge due to train cancellations.

There are currently minor delays on the Piccadilly and Weaver lines.

There is a good service elsewhere on the network, barring the planned part closures on the Metropolitan line and London Trams.

Piccadilly line update

Trams update

Until Wednesday February 25, there is no Tram service between East Croydon and Beckenham Junction, Elmers End and New Addington.

Replacement buses are in operation, but will not serve Lebanon Road.

c2c update

A fault on a train at Barking means that train services running across the c2c network are dealing with delays and cancellations this morning.

This is affecting routes between London Fenchurch Street and Grays, Laindon, Pitsea, Leigh-on-Sea, Southend Central, Thorpe Bay and Shoeburyness.

Tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on the District line between Upminster and Tower Hill.

The disruption is expected until around 9.30am.

Metropolitan line update

Throughout today and until Monday, there will be no service on the Metropolitan line between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Amersham, Chesham, and Watford.

There will also be no Chiltern Railways services between Marylebone and Aylesbury Vale Parkway via Amersham.

Piccadilly line update

There are major delays on the Piccadilly line this morning between Acton Town and Uxbridge due to train cancellations.

Tickets being accepted on London Buses, and there are minor delays on the rest of the line.

Northern line update

There is currently no service northbound only on the Northern line between Kennington and Euston via Bank due to a signal failure at London Bridge.

London buses are accepting valid tickets via any reasonable route.

There is a good service on the rest of the line.
