London travel news: Victoria line passengers stranded in tunnel as Tube trains halted by Euston emergency incident

Victoria line trains ground to a halt on Tuesday after emergency services responded to a casualty on the track.

There was no service between Victoria and Highbury & Islington for much of the morning.

The incident at Euston station left Tube passengers trapped in a tunnel for more than hour as a large section of the service was brought to a halt.

The Standard has obtained video showing passengers being led though the driver’s cab and onto another train before stepping onto the platform at Euston.

Meanwhile, trains between London Euston and Glasgow were disrupted for a second day following a major fire in Scotland’s biggest city.

If you're struggling and need to talk, the Samaritans operate a free helpline open 24/7 on 116 123. Alternatively, you can email jo@samaritans.org or visit their site to find your local branch.
