London travel news LIVE: Euston trains cancelled as overhead line failure causes disruption

Some trains in and out of London Euston are cancelled on Friday - (PA Wire)

Trains are disrupted between London Euston and Watford Junction due to an overhead line failure.

A number of trains have been cancelled, and the disruption is expected to last until the end of the day.

Elsewhere, there is currently a good service everywhere on the Tube and Overground as Londoners prepare for their commute.

Until Sunday June 7, eastbound trains will not stop at Barons Court

If you are travelling eastbound from Barons Court, take a westbound District or Piccadilly line train and change to eastbound services at Hammersmith.

If you are travelling eastbound to Barons Court, continue to West Kensington on the District line or Earls Court on the Piccadilly line and then switch to westbound services.

Disruption between New Malden / Motspur Park and Wimbledon expected until 4pm

Jubilee line resumes good service

Delays on the A112

There are minor delays on the approaches to the scene, with queuing traffic on the eastbound off-slip, which is currently subject to a diversion.

Southbound traffic is also experiencing intermittent delays from Maybury Road.

This follows a vehicle collision on Prince Regent Lane (A112) eastbound at the junction with the A13 Newham Way, where the eastbound on-slip to the A13 is partially blocked.

Reduced service between Gospel Oak and Barking Riverside until approximately 7pm

A points failure at Barking Riverside means fewer trains are able to run to and from the station.

As a result, a reduced service is operating between Gospel Oak and Barking Riverside.

London St Pancras disruption: Tickets will be accepted on these routes

London St Pancras disruption: service alterations

Allow an extra 20–30 minutes for your journey, as you may need to use an alternative route or different transport operators.

The following service alterations are in place:

  • Services that usually operate between Luton and Rainham (Kent) will run only between Dartford and Rainham (Kent).
  • A reduced service is operating between Bedford and Gatwick Airport.
  • Trains running between Peterborough and Horsham will make additional stops at Earlswood (Surrey) and Salfords.

Major disruption between London St Pancras International and London Blackfriars expected until 3pm

A signalling system fault between London St Pancras International and London Blackfriars is causing disruption on the line towards London Blackfriars.

As a result, services between these stations may be severely delayed by up to 30 minutes, cancelled, or amended.

Delays on the A112

On Prince Regent Lane (A112) eastbound at the junction with the A13 Newham Way, the eastbound on-slip to the A13 is partially blocked following a collision.

The traffic signals have also been struck and are currently not working. Expect delays and take extra care when travelling through the area.

Disruption between Ford / Littlehampton and Worthing expected until 1pm

A fault with the signalling system in the Angmering area means that trains have to run at a reduced speed on some lines.

As a result, trains running between between Ford / Littlehampton and Worthing may be delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.
