The average cost of a home in London rose £188 in the month to December 2022
(Picture: Daniel Lynch)The widely predicted slump in London house prices has yet to materialise with the average value of a home in capital almost unchanged in December, according to latest official figures.
The average cost of a London home was up just £188 at £543,099 in the month, a rise of only 0.03 per cent, while the annual rate accelerated slightly to 6.7 per cent, an increase of £33,988, the data from the Land Registry shows.
