Uber Eats has revealed that Londoners order the most supermarket deliveries of any UK city, followed by Manchester and Birmingham.

Uber Eats has also announced the top ten supermarket products ordered on the app in 2023. Milk came out on top, followed by bananas, as well as Pepsi Max and Sour Cream and Onion Pringles.

The most popular day for supermarket deliveries was Monday, followed by Sunday as Brits look to restock their cupboards and fridges ahead of a new week. The app saw the most orders between 4-7pm across the week, whilst London was the home of the supermarket order, placing more orders than the rest of the UK.
The festive season is upon us, so to help with last-minute gifting, Uber Eats is rolling out brand-new digital shopping aisles for those in need of last-minute gifts or forgotten ingredients.
The new aisles include a gifting section that selects the best gifts available across all stores on the app, so whether you’re buying for a chocolate-obsessed friend, or you’ve forgotten your work secret Santa gift, Uber Eats will deliver the items you need.
Uber Eats will be available across the Christmas period and aims to deliver the item within 30 minutes. Categories include Chocolate Lovers, Secret Santa, Sweet Stocking Fillers, For New Parents and Film Buffs.
