Many of us will have come back from a trip away with big ideas: to spend less time working, to start a business, to move abroad. But, as normal life resumes, few of these grand plans tend to materialise. Not for Julie Dent.

When Dent came back from an Ayurveda retreat in Sri Lanka in 2007, she felt renewed. She began to research the practice —Ayurveda is an ancient healing system from India— and returned to Kerala with a colleague.
