Haringey Council has been ordered to apologise and pay over £1,000 in compensation for the “injustice” it caused to a homeless woman.
It follows a ruling by the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman last month, which found multiple faults in the local authority’s response to a woman living in temporary accommodation.
