London Comic Con: Key dates, ticket info and which celebs will appear?

London Comic Con is one of the biggest events in fantasy sci-fi fans' calendar, and a celebration of all things pop culture

The three-day event has exhibits, stalls, and celebrities, with exclusive panels, photo ops, and opportunities for autographs.

Earlier this year, event director at MCM Comic Con Teresa Heitor said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing MCM Comic Con back to London this October. Don’t forget to grab your tickets, and we’ll see you there!"

But what is it all about, where is it happening, and how can you join in?

What is London Comic Con?

MCM London Comic Con is a fan convention held at the ExCeL London twice yearly. It has been running since 2002, and usually takes place on the last weekends in May and October. The convention mainly focuses on comic books, films, TV, video games, sci-fi, cosplay, anime, memorabilia, and popular media.

Which stars are appearing at London Comic Con 2023?

Stars such as Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, and Jackson Rathbone – best known respectively for their roles in the Twilight saga, Bombshell, and the Last Airbender – will be at this October's event.

Also joining the line-up is the cast of popular Dungeons & Dragons web series Critical Role, featuring Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham, Sam Riegel, Liam O’Brien, Ashley Johnson, Taliesin Jaffe, and Marisha Ray.

Where is London Comic Con 2023 happening and when?

It takes place this weekend, from Friday to Sunday (October 28 and 29) at ExCeL London. The closest station to ExCeL London is Custom House station. If you’re arriving via the M11, the North Circular (A406) or the A13, as you get closer to ExCeL you’ll pick up signs for Royal Docks, City Airport, and ExCeL London. Those with early bird tickets can enter from 10am on Friday and Sunday, and 9am on Saturday. People with general entry tickets can enter from noon on Friday and Sunday, and 11am on Saturday.
