A London bus driver has been suspended after allegedly “trapping” a Jewish passenger on board and making antisemitic remarks during a confrontation in Stamford Hill, north London.
David Abraham, 52, an Orthodox Jew, claims he was forced to remain on the bus after accidentally dropping his bank card inside the driver’s booth. He alleges the driver refused to return it and told him, “I don’t like Jewish people,” The Telegraph reports.
