Heathrow-bound flight leaves Abu Dhabi as stranded Brits rescued from Middle East conflict

A flight to London likely to be carrying stranded UK nationals has departed from Abu Dhabi as it was confirmed a “limited” number were set to resume from the Middle East.

The Government of Dubai confirmed some planes would be permitted to take off from the city’s two airports from Monday evening after being suspended amid Iranian missile and drone strikes.
