Black taxis are to carry supplies of military-grade emergency bandages in a bid to save the lives of knife-crime victims.
The medical kits are being given for free by the charity Rapaid to 500 London cab drivers this week – with the aim of having 5,000 in circulation by the end of the year, covering about a third of the capital’s taxi fleet.
