Representational Image

New Delhi: Though the final phase-7 polling for the Lok Sabha elections is yet to go tomorrow, everyone including the political stalwarts to common men, is quite excited about the election results.

The counting of votes of all 7 phases will be done and results be declared on Tuesday, June 4. However Political Parties are busy in their calculations and announcing their 'predictions' with high confidence even before the 'election results'.

Declaration Of 'Seats' before the 'Results'

PM Modi
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is claiming to come to power for the third consecutive time under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Long before the elections, PM Modi had claimed in the last session of Parliament that BJP will win 370 seats in this election and NDA will win 400+ seats. PM Modi had then given the target of winning 400+ seats to the BJP leaders in a way. Till the announcement of the elections and the end of the election campaign, the slogan "Abki Baar, 400 Paar" was on the lips of every small and big leader of BJP.

Amit Shah
As soon as the fourth phase of elections was completed, Amit Shah stated that 'BJP has got a majority in the elections held on 380 seats in these four phases. PM Modi has achieved an absolute majority by winning 270 seats. In the next three phases, BJP is moving to cross 400 seats. '

Rahul Gandhi
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi reiterated on Thursday after the end of election campaign before the last phase of voting in the Lok Sabha elections that this time the 'INDIA' bloc is going to form the Government at the Centre. He made this claim through social media posts on ‘X’.  Earlier on May 28, Rahul Gandhi wrote on social media "Good Bye BJP, Good Bye Narendra Modi, Tata after June 4!"

However, Rahul Gandhi did not quote any figure of seats the INDIA bloc will get.

Mallikarjun Kharge
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge claimed in a press conference in Delhi on the last day of election campaign that on June 4 (the day of election results), the INDIA bloc will form a full majority government. This government will be inclusive, and nationalist and will run on development issues. He also said that on June 4, India will give the mandate of an alternative government. He quipped that after June 4, Modi Ji and BJP leaders will get a lot of time to learn about Mahatma Gandhi Ji.

Mallikarjun Kharge also said that the country will get a new Prime Minister 24 hours after INDIA bloc gets a majority on 4th June. The Alliance will decide on the PM face immediately.

Arvind Kejriwal
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed in reports to the media including election rallies that this time BJP is losing badly. He said that in this election INDIA bloc will get 300 seats while BJP will be reduced to mere 200 seats. He also claimed that the INDIA bloc (Congress and Aam Aadmi Party candidates) are winning all the seven seats of Delhi.

Akhilesh Yadav
Samajwadi Party Chief and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav claimed in several election rallies as well as in media conversations that in this election BJP is going to face crushing defeat. He took a jibe at PM Modi's statement of 400 seats several times. He said that 140 crore people of the country will make BJP crave 140 seats. Akhilesh Yadav reiterated that this time the INDIA bloc government will be formed and BJP will not get more than 140.

In a special conversation with Dynamite News on the day of voting in Kannauj, Akhilesh Yadav said that in Uttar Pradesh, the SP and INDIA bloc will get 79 out of 80 seats except 'Quoto' (PM Modi's parliamentary constituency Varanasi).

Dimple Yadav
Just a day before the last phase of election campaign in Kushinagar, in a special conversation with Dynamite News, Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav claimed that this time the INDIA bloc will form the government at the Centre. On the claim of PM Modi and BJP of 400 seats, Dimple Yadav said that BJP spreads lies. Their pot of lies is going to burst on June 4.

Mamata Banerjee
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee claimed on many occasions in election rallies and media interactions that this time BJP will not be able to cross the figure of even 200 seats. TMC will win all the seats in Bengal and will support the INDIA bloc after the elections. She said that this time with the support of TMC, INDIA bloc government will be formed in the country.

How far the predictions of political stalwarts come true, will only be known only on June 4 when the official results of these General Elections will be declared.
