NEW DELHI: The government and the opposition are slogging it out in the Lok Sabha over the issue of passage of bills after the acceptance of no-confidence motion in the House.
Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla admitted the Congress-moved and opposition-supported no-confidence motion on July 26. After putting the motion moved by Congress’s deputy leader in the Lower House Gaurav Gogoi to by voice vote, the speaker accepted it.
